Privacy Policy

Effective 27 October 2026

In short

Homenea is made by Yusuf Yudhistira Perdana, an independent developer. This page explains what the app keeps, where it keeps it, and the few times it talks to Apple to do its job. There is no Homenea server, so we never receive, see, or store anything you put into the app.

What Homenea keeps, and where

To compare homes, the app keeps what you enter:

  • The homes you save: name, address, property type, and an optional price and period.
  • The key places you travel to, such as work, uni, or family.
  • Your settings, such as units, travel mode, currency, price period, and nearby radius.

All of this is stored only on your iPhone. It is not synced to iCloud and it is not sent to us.

Location

Homenea only asks for location access while you are using the app, and never in the background. It is used for one thing: when you tap to add the home you are standing in, such as during a viewing, the app takes a single reading to fill in the address. Those coordinates are saved with that home on your iPhone. Location access is optional, you can always type an address instead, and you can change it at any time in iOS Settings.

Apple services the app uses

Homenea uses Apple's own frameworks, so these requests go straight to Apple, never to us:

  • Address search. What you type in the address field is sent to Apple Maps to find matching addresses.
  • Journey times. The locations of your homes and key places are sent to Apple Maps to estimate travel times.
  • Nearby places. A home's location and your chosen radius are sent to Apple Maps to list what is around it.
  • Addresses from a location. Coordinates are sent to Apple to look up an address and time zone.
  • Purchases. In-app purchases are handled by the App Store.

Apple's handling of this is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Payments, billing, and refunds are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

What we do not do

Homenea has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Nothing is tracked, so the app does not use App Tracking Transparency. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your iPhone until you delete it. You can delete any home or key place inside the app, and deleting the app removes everything permanently. Because we never have a copy, we cannot recover or export your data, and there is nothing to ask us to delete.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale of your personal data. Homenea does not collect any personal data, so we hold nothing that these rights could apply to, and we never sell or share anything. You stay in full control of your data on your own device. If you have a question about this, email us.

Children

Homenea is not directed at children under 13, and it does not collect data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated effective date.
